GALA 2026: Malaysia Book of Records recognises the first Hybrid Asset Trust structure
The inaugural Gambit Annual Legacy Awards at Sentul Pavilion marked a national record — Malaysia’s first trust structure spanning traditional and digital assets.
The Gambit Annual Legacy Awards (GALA) 2026, held at Sentul Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, brought together clients, partners and the wider Gambit Group community — and featured official recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records for the first Hybrid Asset Trust (H.A.T) structure in the country.
The evening presented nine award categories celebrating partners and advocates of modern legacy planning, with remarks from Group CEO Datuk Clifford Hii. The record entry formalises what the consortium set out to build: a single regulated structure in which traditional assets and digital assets pass to the next generation together.
