At GEN Impact 2025, co-hosted with Gambit Group, GEN launched what it describes as Malaysia’s first green digital asset — a USD 1 million tokenised green energy offering whose returns are tied to verified energy output.
Each project publishes verifiable on-chain energy and emissions data, reducing greenwashing risk and giving corporates auditable inputs for ESG reporting. TechBullion’s coverage highlighted the consortium’s regulated standing — trustee services alongside custody registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia — as the foundation for the launch.
